Description:
Rudyard Beedam graduated with a degree in law in 1920 and was articled to the firm Roberts and Allport. Beedham was appointed solicitor to the Public Trust Office in 1921 and to the Crown Law Department in 1930. In 1939 he was appointed Solicitor-General and made King's Counsel. He retired from the position in August 1944 due to ill-health and died in 1947.
