Industries and the Mount Lyell Mining and Railway Company Limited signed an Agreement (called a Shareholders Agreement) with the E S & A bank to provide banking facilities and a loan for a company which they had caused to be incorporated in Tasmania know as the North - West Acid Pty Ltd . The Company was located in Burnie and it was set up to undertake the manufacture and sale of Sulphuric Acid. The Company closed in 1978
