Ida Maria Pitt was born in Deloraine 8 Dec 1878. She was the daughter of Francis Pitt (born 1831) and Marian Rooke who had married in 1865. Her father Francis Pitt was the son of Francis Pitt and his wife Maria Reardon. Her grandfather was the son of colonist Richard Pitt from Devon, UK who died in Hobart on May 1826.;;;;Ida Maria married the Rev. Douglas Burns Blackwood in Deloraine in 1910. (see NG742)
