The Printery was located at Franklin and published the Huon Times from 1910 - 1933. In 1933 the name of the publication changed to Huon and Derwent Times. In April 1942 publication was suspended until 1964. Besides printing the local newspaper the printery produced a variety of printed material for the local organisations
