Peter Richman, born 23 July 1934, was a Hobart writer and musical producer. He ran his own production company and produced audio-visual material and events, including Carols by Candlelight. He worked with the Rosny Children's Choir from 1967 - 2001. ;;He had a public profile as an on-screen pioneer of Tasmanian television at the commercial Hobart channel TVT6, including a period hosting a popular children's show, often working in association with the Hobart pianist and ventriloquist John Sidney (1927 - 2002).;;He died in Hobart on 14 October 2013.;;Peter Richman operated Creative Workshop Pty Ltd (1967 - 2003), Creative Marketing Pty Ltd. (1971 - 1990) and Peter Richman Productions.;;Creative Marketing was billed as working in "audio visual and television production, tourist & trade promotion, photographic & videotape production & library services, business & convention theatre - video & audio visual sales and hire".
