After Eliza died, William remarried in 1875 to Amelia Frances Byworth (1853-). Together they had eleven children including Percy (b.1878, d.1879), Florence Edith (married name Greenhill, b.1879), Emma Amelia (married name Elliott, b.1881), Donald Campbell (b.1883), George Frederick (b.1885), Daisy Ella (b.1888), Ethel Maud (b.1890), Muriel Evelyn (b.1892), Royden Loughlan (b.1894), May Louisa (married name Todd), and Doris Irene (b.1896).;;Amelia and William owned at lived a 63 acre farm at Fairmount, Emu Bay. They also had a substantial range of other property holdings.
