The Climbers Club of Tasmania was formed to provide an opportunity for those interested in mountainclimbing to climb together by arranging rockclimbing, snowclimbing and training trips, to establish an official body to maintain records of important climbs carried out in Tasmania and produce guidebooks and information bulletins, to instruct beginners in the technique of climbing and to explore and pioneer the clinbing potential of Tasmania.;;;;
