Alfred Augustus Stump was a photographer born in 1860 who worked in Hobart and later moved to Adelaide where he was joined by his son, Stanley Stump. He died in December 1925. Alfred was the son of Mark and Mary Ann Stump and had a brother Ernest, born 1865, who worked for P O Fysh and Co and died in 1930.
