George Guest was born in Hobart in 1891. His parents were William Guest and Annie Guest nee King. They were residing in Hunter Street at this time.;;George Guest who was a young patient over several years with a leg problem in Hobart General Hospital, Launceston General Hospital (Dr Ramsay) and Melbourne Children's Hospital (Dr. Moore);;Maureen Newman donated the albums of postcards. She is the niece of Myrtle Jackson. Myrtle was the adopted daughter of Mrs Annie Guest, mother of George, who lived at 7 Sackville Street near the Theatre Royal in Hobart.
