Mrs Caithleen Estelle (Sam) Claridge, born in 1925, was the eldest of seven children of Alec William Campbell (1899-2002) and his first wife Kathleen Matilda Connolly (1902-1986). Her parents were married on 24 May 1924 at the Church of Apostles, Launceston.
