Description:
Henry Traill was born in North Shields,Northumberland, England around 1827. He spent time working in Newcastle on Tyne as a Union representative. He also worked on the pier at Madras, India. He married Emily King on June 1, 1856. They had the following children; Henry King, Charles, Alfred and William. The family emigrated to Australia in 1882 on the ship "Garonne", which berthed in Melbourne. The family settled in the Frankford area of northern Tasmania.;;Henry William and Emily are both buried at Frankford.
