Dorothy Rosemann was a librarian in the Local History Room of the Northern Regional Library (now Launceston Library). She was the minute secretary of the Launceston Historical Society and the Tasmanian Branch of the Oral History Association of Australia. She was also an active member of the Friends of the QVMAG and the Girl Guide Association. She was married to Manfred Rosemann who died aged 75 on 8 June 2000.
