Ron Nagorcka, born in 1948 in western Victoria, is a composer, performer and naturalist. He studied history and music at Melbourne University and composition and electronic music the University of California. He has toured Europe, USA and Japan as a composer and performer. Since 1988 he has lived in a remote forest at Birralee, northern Tasmania.
