To provide for the construction,management and operation of certain works for the purpose of providing a Water Supply to the Municipallities of Brighton, Clarence, Glenorchy, Green Ponds, New Norfolk and Richmond. The major construction works having been completed, the scheme was replaced by a Board in 1961.
