Legislation Creating:
Workers (Occupational Diseases) Relief Fund Act 1928. ;;Dec 1939 3 & 4 Geo VI No 67, An Act to amend the Workers (OD) Relief Fund Act 1928, set up a Board called the Nurses (OD) Relief Fund Board which was to be administered by the Workers (OD) Relief Fund Board. These two Acts and other amending Acts were repealed by the Workers (Occupational Diseases) Relief Fund Act 1954 which consolidated and amended previous legislation. The specific provisions of the Principal Act which related to Nurses were repealed by an Act to amend the Workers (Occupational Diseases) Relief Fund Act 1954 No.38 1988 and took effect with the proclamation of the Workers Compensation Act 1988.
