Description:
To provide for the supply of water in bulk to Hobart, Glenorchy, Clarence, Kingborough, Sorell, Richmond, Brighton, New Norfolk and Green Ponds. ;;;;In May 1997 the State Government according to SR 1990/107 brought the Board under control of the local councils in and around Hobart. It was renamed the Hobart Regional Water Authority and began trading as Hobart Water.
