Description:
The parents of children attending the Broadmeadows State School, in the Mowbray;;Swamp area, not having their school re-opened after the Xmas vacation, wrote letters requesting the reopening of the school. After a short conference a provisional school was promised with a teacher from the Training College to take charge from from Easter holiday vacation.(Advocate, 1920).;;;;A contract has been approved for the removal of the Broadmeadows school and its re-erection at the Smithton school. (Advocate, 1950).
