Description:
There was a school at Chudleigh as early as 1864, originally with only 14 pupils. It closed and re-opened in 1883 with a larger enrolment. The school was originally located on the road to Molle Creek, but was subject to frequent flooding, and was later moved to Sorrell Street.;;The school was extended in 1936, but due to low enrolments was closed by the Education Department on 30 September 1965.
