Provision of education and school facilities. Eldon was a small school near Colebrook. Councillor Brooks reported that the State School at Eldon was in a bad;;state of disrepair. The roof of the shelter shed had been burnt by bush fires over a year ago, and had not been repaired. The main building was also in a very bad state, spouting and windows were broken, and it was being used as a subsidised school.
