Description:
Red Hills is located in the local government area of the Meander Valley,southwest of Deloraine. In 1864 the Inspector recommended an expenditure of ten pounds for furniture for the new school at Red Hill. Red Hills State School opened on 1 September 1864, with the first teacher being G F Reade. The school celebrated its' sixtieth anniversary in 1924.
