Description:
Provision of education and school facilities. Messrs. Young and Walker, on behalf of Mr J G Maynard, offered to the Board an acre allotment of land at Ringarooma for school purposes at the Board of Education meeting held 28 August 1877. ;;;;In 1881 Ringarooma has 44 distinct names on the roll with an average daily attendance of 20. Ringarooma Area School opened in 1937. Ringarooma ceased secondary classes and became a primary school.
