Description:
Provision of education and school facilities. The school was opened by the Minister for Education, Robert Ogilvie on April 30th 1955. To avoid confusion, the existing Lindisfarne State School on the corner of Rowitta and Raminea Roads was renamed Lindisfarne North. The new Lindisfarne State School on Loatta Road was later renamed Lindisfarne Primary School.
