Following a pilot project in 2001, arts@work was established as a permanent program from the end of 2002-2003.;;arts@work is a business unit of Arts Tasmania dedicated to providing industry development services for the arts industry. It is responsible for the management of the Art for Public Building Scheme, and its expansion to the private sector; the provision of a centralised information and resources service to artists, developing links between artists, funding bodies, government departments and relevant corporations; developing project management and production skills in the arts sector with a view to boosting export opportunities and building export ready products; and the generation of employment opportunities for artists in the public and private sector.;;;;Recognising its industry development focus, in 2014 the activities of arts@work were integrated into the operations of Arts Tasmania .
