Enquiry into management of the railways which led to the sacking of the then Commissioner of Railways, George Wishart Smith, who subsequently sued the Government. The Commission comprised George William Stead (Chariman), Frank Lindsay Gunn and Alfred William Burbury with Mr L. Norman as Secretary.;;
