Description:
Provider of training in Tasmania for hospitality, tourism and cookery.;;;;After being first established within the Hobart Technical College in 1961, Drysdale College in 1976 became an autonomous school within the Division of Technical and Further Education (TAFE). In addition to Drysdale House in Collins Street Hobart, campuses were established in Devonport and Launceston.;;;;As a result of the State Government's Tasmania Tomorrow initiative; the Tasmanian Academy, the Tasmanian Polytechnic and the Tasmanian Skills Institute commenced in 2009 as the new education providers for post Year 10 students.;;;;The Drysdale Institute's three campuses became campuses of the Tasmanian Polytechnic while in addition the Devonport campus catered for the new Tasmanian Skills Institute.
