From 1 January 2009, the Tasmanian racing industry came under the control of the Tasmanian Racing Board, replacing the former structure where Tote Tasmania governed and administered the industry. The Board replaced the individual boards which previously oversaw the three racing codes.;;;;The Board comprised seven members with backgrounds in business, finance and promotions, as well as the racing industry.;;;;The integrity aspect of Tasmanian racing falls under the control of the Integrity Assurance Board. ;;;;
