The evolution of the Police Department is complex and as yet has not been registered in complete detail. Each police station (or grouping of stations) in a geographical area has been given a separate agency registration. This is the agency registration for the police activities of law enforcement and other regulatory duties in the district of Flinders Island, which also includes Cape Barren and Lady Barron Islands.
