According to the Act, the Committee's objective is to ensure that Tasmania has effective and accessible systems and procedures for training contracts and vocational placements.;;;;It has the following functions:;;(a) overseeing the administration of training contracts and vocational placements;;;(b) to advise the Minister, and make recommendations, on policies and guidelines in relation to the operation of training contracts and vocational placements;;;(c) to monitor the effectiveness of training contracts and vocational placements;;;(d) other functions imposed by this Act;;;(e) other functions imposed by the Minister
