The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is the organisation responsible for the registration and accreditation of ten health professions across Australia (Chiropractic, Dental, Medical, Nursing & Midwifery, Optometry, osteopathy, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Psychology). AHPRA was formed by an Act of Parliament and is bound by the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009 and regulations. This body is registered here to record the transfer of the health practitioner registration activity from State to Federal jurisdiction.;;;;;;;;
