Series notes:
This series is a combination of several series of case files with applications and correspondence relating to the custody and welfare of children, child migration and the provision of compassionate allowances and outdoor refief to individuals and families. A number of the case file titles also contain file references to additional files to be found in other series but some of these numbered files have not survived.
