This is because the Department of Education has reconsidered its position on access. Information recorded in student records has changed over the years and in some instances may include information that might impact on individuals if unreasonably disclosed. The Archvies Act 1983 does not allow any retrospective increase of access restrictions.
Series notes:
There are two consignments in this series. The first consignment is comprised of student admission record cards which contain the name of student, one parent and address and students' home class. The second consignment contains a file for each student, with enrolment form listing the student's name, date of birth, name of parent/guardian and student photo. Subject's enrolled in and results are also included.
