Series notes:
The Crown Lands Act 1935 was an act to regulate the sale and management of Crown Lands. This series is comprised of two registers of applications to purchase land under the Crown Lands Act 1935. The first volume in this series is arranged by application number. Details included are, application number, name of purchaser, area, lot and situation, name of surveyor instructed and remarks. The second volume is organised chronologically by the year the contract to purchase the land was signed. Details included are, application number, section, lot and situation of land, name of purchaser, date of contract, the secton of the Crown lands Act under which land was purchased, purchase amount and instalments paid.
