Subject based index to general correspondence. This index was initially created as a card index but was transferred Microsoft Excel in approximately 1993-1994. When the index was transferred to the Archives Office it was converted from Microsoft Excel into a Microsoft Access database. The database contains a separate table for each of the subject classifications in use, for example, Accident Black Spots (762). The number in parentheses at the end of the subject classification is the first number of the three tier numerical classification used for all files in the General Correspondence sequence.~
