Series notes:
The Committee was apppointed on 20 November 1952 after a resolution was received from the House of Assembly to inquire into all aspects of Tasmanian Government Railway Passenger Services. Hearings were held from November until January of the following year. However, it would appear based on the Journals and Printed Papers of Parliament that the inquiry was never formally completed.
