System of Arrangement:
In the basement of Franklin Square, Miss Wayn of the Chief Secretarys Dept had 115 volumes of despatches received by the Governor between 1823 and Dec 1856 stored on Panel D. The 115 volumes of Inward Despatches comprised four separate series (GO1. GO2, GO3, GO17). The numbers in the item description fields are the numbers used by Miss Wayn in her precis book (AE713) and identified as ID on the Wayn index cards (AE807);;Chronological
