Register, in rough alphabetical order, of patients on strength during various time-periods. Admission numbers until 1964 refer to the Admission Register (HSD247) but between 1964 and 1966 alpha-numeric references occur. These are to the three parallel admission registers introduced at this time and the references are as follows: I Informal admission - HSD 248, T Admitted for treatment - HSD 249, O Admitted for Observation - HSD 250. From 1966 the Royal Derwent Hospital reverted to a single Admission Register (HSD 248) and the other two series were discontinued. NOTE: Young boys with congenital psychological conditions were apparently admitted to the Female Division until old enough for transfer to the Boys' Division, as their names appear in the volumes of women patients.~
