Series notes:
The Crown Lands Act of 1911, was an act for regulating the sale and disposal of crown land in Tasmania. Section 24 of the Act specified the conditions around who could select land and detailed the terms governing the purchase of the land. Land was categorised according to it's value, with third class land defined as land where the value is fixed at less than ten shillings per acre and not less than five shillings per acre. The registers list the name and address of the purchaser of the land, the situation and area of the land, the date of contract, the purchase amount, deposit amount and instalments paid. This register also refers to an Application number which can be found in LSD121.
