How to Use:
Because of the re-arrangement of the Department's correspondence (LSD1), Archives staff have annotated some entries in the register with the correct volume number in LSD1. There are 3437 entries in this register, compared with only 370 for the same period in the LSD2 register.
Series notes:
A register created in about 1836 of the Department's series B correspondence (LSD1). The correspondence was kept loose as two sequences known as series A and series B.
Most entries relate to applications for grants and allotments though a few are subject entries such as towns, bridges etc.
