Series notes:
Beatrice Travers Butler was born 12 Aug 1884, the daughter of Charles Willliam Butler and Beatrice (nee Travers) of Ashfield, Sandy Bay. She trained as a nurse in Melbourne and later served as a nurse in World War 1. She was living in England in 1909, arriving back in Hobart on April 19 1910. She never married and lived at 2 Red Chapel Avenue, Sandy Bay.
