Series notes:
Marjorie Travers Butler, the first child of Charles William Butler and Beatrice (nee Travers), was born 15 May 1883. She never married. She grew up at "Ashfield" Sandy Bay and remained there fulfilling domestic duties for her parents and brother Jim (James Montagu Travers Butler). After the death of their parents; Jim and Marjorie lived in Red Chapel Avenue, Sandy Bay. Beatrice later lived there too. Marjorie was cremated at Cornelian Bay Cemetery on the 12 September 1972 aged 89.
