Series notes:
This series comprises a notebook in which William Johnston records the names, details and personal observations about the convicts who sailed on the Dudbrook from Plymouth to Swan River, Western Australia, arriving on 2 February 1853. This notebook was kept with other family papers which Johnston brought with him to Tasmania when he settled there in 1855.
