System of Arrangement:

The 35mm colour transparencies have been processed retaining the original box numbers used by Mr Major; who recorded in five note books (Day Book - Transparency Register) the date, subject. location and time of each transparency. These registers must be used to access the subject material. The "Box No" at the top of the pages in the registers refers to the numbers on the transparency box.

Some pages in these registers have a red line through them. They appear to refer to transparency box numbers which have been removed from the sequence. These were received by the AOT in small unmarked envelopes and have been transferred to transparent plastic slide sheets and filed separately in their original numerical sequence.

Thus the registers run to two runs of transparencies. [Those missing from both sequences were NOT received by the Archives Office.]
