Series notes:
The early registers in this series cover the beginnings of the Congregational Church in Tasmania. The Independent Chapel, Brisbane Street was opened on 20 April 1832 , the Minister was Frederick Miller. There are events entered in some of the registers that took place outside of Hobart. Memorial was built next door tot he Chapel and opened in 1872. The was demolished sometime later and a hall built on the site in 1911
