These albums were given to Geoffrey Stilwell by an unknown donor and he subsequently passed them onto the Archives Office
Series notes:
A collection of photographs depicting family life - mostly unidentfied people - some scenes of the World War 1 and views of areas in the southern Tasmania. A grave site for a Lieut Sandland of the 3rd Australian Light Horse and scenes in Egypt would suggest a family link with that Regiment. There are also several photographs of a motor cycle which was registered (no 6829) to a Thomas Edwin Evans of Colebrook in Nov 1917.
The albums are not connected to the Stilwell family.
