Series notes:
This series consists of a single volume register of colour negatives. It is one of three registers used to index railways photographic material. The entries in the register are in subject groupings. Each group is filed alphabetically within the register according to an assigned letter. The index at the front of the register shows the following groups;
A- Accidents, Derailments and Fires.
B- Workshops and Offices.
C- Carriages and Vans
E- Electrical
F- Railways, other than TGR,
G- Gang cars and Trolleys.
H- Fuelling Depots.
L- Locomotives.
M- Cranes, Fork lifts, Trucks, etc.
P- Permanent way and works,
R- Railcars and Trailers
S- Sundry
T. Traffic and Trains
W- Wagons.
