This series consists of miscellaneous papers collected at the Civil Engineer's Office, Launceston. It includes reports of inquiries, copies of reports commissioned by the railways, various Tasmanian railways publications, photographs, contact documents, maps, plans, diagrams and ex- registry files. The occupants of the office were; D.V. Martin, Chief Civil Engineer 1980(?) - 1982(?), Grahame Templer, Civil Engineer, 1982 - 1985, and Leslie Harold Phillips, Civil Engineer, 1985 - Sept.1990.
