How to Use:
Each page has been divided into three columns. The first page to contain entries [Aug 25 1971] has the following titles at the top of the columns; 'Subject', 'File No.' and 'From'. Following pages in the 1971 register and pages in all subsequent registers do not contain column titles but it would appear from entries in the columns that the same format as the page containing titled columns has been followed. Some extra pages have been inserted to contain overflow entries.
Series notes:
This series consists of incoming correspondence registers for the Chief Engineer's Branch of the Tasmanian Government Railways (from 1978 Australian National Tasrail). The registers actually consist of one day-to-a-page diaries that have been used to record incoming correspondence.
