These index booklets identify correspondence files from series P2094 and P2096 which detail the leasing, sale or purchase of Railway property located along ANR's lines. The indexes are maintained in the railway line order. The entries are recorded alphabetically and show details of the name of the individual or body involved in the transaction, their location, a description of the type of property file, the date of termination (for lease files), and a file number usually with a primary number of "555".Agency permission was received by the National Archives to open these records before they reached 30 years of age see file 2006/1854, document R399442006.
